During menstruation, the perimenopause and the menopause, there are many anatomical changes that occur. We’ll take an in depth look at how the level of estrogen rises and falls during perimenopause, how to manage symptoms, Hormone Replacement Therapy, and other treatments

Menopause at Work

According to a survey from the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (FOM), “45% women say menopause has had a negative impact on their work”. In our seminar, we will identify keys issues women face, and learn ways we can support ourselves and others during this time. This knowledge will help us to have more supportive conversations and make a difference.

Fertility & Nutrition

Fertility can be affected by several unmodifiable and modifiable factors. In this seminar we will take a closer look at nutritional influences and identify ways we can improve our diet. We will explore macronutrients, the Mediterranean diet, micronutrients, supplements, folic acid, the importance of fibre, and omega 3’s.

 

Coping with Menopause in your Personal Life

In this seminar we will take an in-depth look at our mental and sexual health, and the symptoms that some women experience. We will learn how to deal with the symptoms, the treatments that are available to us, and learn about when to see further advice from a medical professional. We will also look at the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and the impact of our diet, sleep, and exercise during this time
