Top Tips for Better Sleep
Something we all look forward to? Falling into bed and escaping to that other world? For some this may not always be the case, for others, sleep can escape us, but only sometimes. However, help is at hand. Laying down some good habits and not getting too upset if it doesn’t happen is all part of our presentation on some of the strategies available for getting a good night’s sleep.
The Golden Rules of Sleep
Tossing and turning all night is never fun. We’ve rounded up a list of ways to get better sleep tonight so you can wake up on the right side of the bed in the morning. Your daily habits and bedtime routines are what determines your sleeping patterns once you close your eyes. This digital seminar will teach you the best practice in your lead up to bedtime which you can make an everyday part of your routine.
Setting Your Wellbeing Goals
There are many different aspects to wellbeing and because it is measured intrinsically by each individual, what makes one satisfied with their own state of wellbeing will differ from person to person. Wellbeing includes your physical health - exercise & nutrition, your mental, emotional & spiritual health, your work satisfaction, sense of connection & belonging and sense of purpose. The purpose of this seminar is to help you gain an understanding of the different aspects of wellbeing, discover what is important to you, and to equip you with the knowledge and tools to not only set effective wellbeing goals, but to stick with them and follow through, smash them, and ultimately live your best life.
Positive Parenting
Positive Parenting is an approach to parenting which focuses on nurturing children’s psychological wellbeing – their mental and emotional health. It is underpinned by concepts from Positive Psychology, which is the science of wellbeing. This seminar outlines how to bring this positive approach into daily parenting, in order to help children to thrive and flourish. 3 specific, practical suggestions for embedding this approach into family life are shared.
Finding your Workout Style
Finding your fitness style is all about discovering an activity you enjoy doing, so that incorporating physical fitness into your routine becomes something you look forward to. It’s about self-reflection; being honest with yourself about your limitations, thinking about how you like to exercise and what your goals are. It’s about having fun, and living your healthiest, happiest life.
Mindfulness Techniques for Children
Practising mindfulness can be very beneficial to children’s wellbeing. This seminar outlines what mindfulness is and how parents can start to use 4 specific techniques with children. It also explores how to integrate these techniques into daily family life, to help to create a more calm, positive, and relaxed environment, which is so important in counteracting the stresses of our often busy, hectic pace of life.
