Neurodiversity Workshop

Neurodiversity’ is a relatively new term that refers to people who have dyslexia, autism, ADHD, dyspraxia and other neurological conditions. These are ‘spectrum’ conditions, with a wide range of characteristics, but which nevertheless share some common features in terms of how people learn and process information.

This two-hour workshop provides an overview of neurodiverse conditions and demonstrates how colleagues and managers can be inclusive to employees and colleagues with these conditions.

Learning Objectives

  • What are the Models of Disability?

  • Overview of Dyslexia, Autism, ADHD and Dyspraxia in adults

  • Strengths of neurodiverse conditions

  • Reasonable accommodations for people with neurodiverse conditions in the workplace


Who: Michal Lassman, a representative from the Irish Centre For Diversity will deliver this workshop.

When: The workshop will take place on April 27th at 11:00 via Zoom. Duration of the workshop will be two hours.
