Skin, Bowel and Lung Cancer Information

This webinar will focus on cancer prevention (Smoking, Alcohol, Diet, Exercise, HPV vaccine and Screening), bowel cancer, lung cancer and skin cancer awareness. This webinar will discuss what we can do to help decrease the risk of some of the most common cancer types, discussing risk factors, signs and symptoms, diagnosis and treatment.

The final section of this webinar will be about caring for our skin and skin cancer information. Skin cancer is our most common cancer type. This section will focus on the different types of skin cancer and pictures to show what the different types look like. The causes, diagnosis, and treatment of skin cancer will also be discussed. Information will be provided on what changes in the skin to look out for, how to check our moles for changes, choosing a sunscreen, how to apply sunscreen, the HSE Sunsmart code, and understanding the UV index
