Menopause and Sleep
The decline in hormones experienced through the menopause, particularly oestrogen, can negatively impact sleep. Other physical symptoms such as hot flashes and night sweats can disrupt a good night’s sleep. Whatever the cause, chronic sleep disruption can affect our mood, can cause difficulties with short term memory and concentration, as well as muscle and join discomfort. This seminar focuses on the impact of the menopause on sleep and provides some ideas on how best to deal with sleep issues during menopause.
