The Dark Side of Blue Light

A Modern Day Solution for a Modern Day Problem

Light at night is bad for your health, and exposure to blue light emitted by electronics and energy-efficient lightbulbs may be especially so. But not all colours of light have the same effect.

Blue wavelengths - which are beneficial during daylight hours, seem to be the most disruptive at night. And the proliferation of electronics with screens, as well as energy-efficient lighting, is increasing our exposure to blue wavelengths, especially after sundown. This topic explores the measures you can take to counteract the effects of blue light.

Our Sleep Expert will explain the consequences of exposing yourself to too much blue light in the lead up to your sleep time and the consequences of overexposure as well as outlining some measures you can take to counteract it's effects.

The webinar will be available for all NAME employees to watch from DATE and will remain available for 30 days.

In addition to the webinar, we have created a useful handout which you can print out and refer back to. In this handout, we cover some of the key points in our presentation.
